Med-TSO is delighted to announce the publication of its 2023 Annual Report, a comprehensive overview of the Association’s activities and achievements throughout the year.
Throughout 2023, Med-TSO remained committed to promoting the creation of a Mediterranean energy market and ensuring its optimal function. Key highlights of the Annual Report include the successful conclusion of the TEASIMED project and the launch of TEASIMED 2, aimed at promoting the progressive integration of transmission networks and enhancing energy security and cross-border exchanges.
Additionally, the report sheds light on Med-TSO’s efforts to consolidate the Common Technical Regulatory Framework, a crucial step towards harmonising technical rules and facilitating electricity exchanges. This framework, which sets common standards and guidelines for the operation of transmission systems, is a cornerstone of our work and plays a crucial role in ensuring interconnections across borders. It also outlines the Association’s initiatives to enhance electricity exchanges and resilience in power systems, paving the way for a sustainable energy future in the region.
