The development of Adequacy Studies is one of the core tasks foreseen in TEASIMED Med-TSO project. System Adequacy is the ability of the power system to meet demand at all times and thus guarantee security of supply. TSOs perform Adequacy Studies for their Systems in different time horizons (weekly – week ahead, seasonal, mid-term, long-term) with the aim to adequately assess possible risks and provide stakeholders with the data necessary to make informed, qualified decisions. In line with that TC Operation is organizing a workshop to kick-off the activity.
