ESS WG Workshop Scenarios Building - Day 2

The registration on Day 1 allows the attendance also to Day 2. The first day will be dedicated to draw an overview of Mid- and Long-term Energy scenarios and context in the Euro-Mediterranean Region. Presentations will be focused on the development of Mediterranean Power System in a wider geographical perspective including its connections to the North, South and East. Special attention shall be paid to the Energy Efficiency, the development of RES, the security of supply and the role of the gas in electricity generation. During the second day, members of WG ESS will work on the definition of the new Med-TSO scenarios, adopting a step-by-step methodology. Selection of a set of drivers (economic, demographic, technology, etc.), description of the scenarios and provisional storyline draft are expected outputs at the end of the workshop.
