Mr. Ameur Bchir new President of Med-TSO

Graduated as Electrical and Mechanical Engineer at the “Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Electricité et de Mécanique de Nancy « ENSEM »” – in France, Mr. Bchir has more than 40 years of strong professional experience in the Power Sector, namely within STEG, the Tunisian Ministry of Energy and ELMED (an Italian-Tunisian joint-venture, set up for studying the possible interconnection between the two countries) and with a vast knowledge of electricity production, transmission and distribution markets. He joined STEG in 1975 and rose to become the CEO in July 2015.
