Appointment of Mr. Mustapha Guitouni as CEO of Sonelgaz

The Algerian Minister of Energy, Mr. Noureddine Boutarfa, appointed Mr. Mustapha Guitouni as new CEO of Sonelgaz, last Monday, June 27th 2016 at Sonelgaz headquarters.

In his speech, Mr. Boutarfa highlighted Mr. Mustapha Guitouni’s professional and merits, wishing him every success for his new mission and ensuring his support.

By his side, Mr. Guitouni declared himself very honored of his appointment as chief of Sonelgaz.

Mr. Mustapha Guitouni is a Chartered Engineer, with a huge experience in all the Power Sector fields (production, transmission and distribution). He joined Sonelgaz in 1970.

In his career Mr. Guitouni managed several important projects, such as the “BCC’ Bureau de Conduite Centralisée d’Alger”, “ le Changement de Tension et Pression de la ville d’Alger”, “Restructuration des réseaux de la corniche oranaise et Changement de tension et pression de la ville d’Oran”, all of them with the aim to improve security of supply and quality of service.
