Med TSO General Assembly in Madrid
On June 10th, the General Assembly of Med-TSO took place in Madrid, hosted by REE.
In this occasion, three more Vice-presidents have been elected: Mr. H.LAffaye (RTE), Mr. C.Crea (TERNA), Mr. El Daradkeh (NEPCO),which complete and strengthen the Governance of the Association, joining their three colleagues Vice-presidents elected during the previous General Assembly in Rome (April,16th,2015).
The Governance of the Association came out also reinforced through the definition and introduction of three new managing tools: the SOC (Strategic Orientation Committee), chaired by the just appointed Vice-president Mr. H.Laffaye, the IAC (Internal Audit Committee), chaired by the Vice-president Mr. A.Bardach and the OACC (Operational Activities Coordination Committee) chaired by the Vice-president Mr. Victor Baptista. This will be an important improvement for the coordination, the orientation and the developing of Med-TSO activities.
The progresses achieved by Technical Committees and Working Groups have also been presented by the Chairmen of each Committee: although some lack of member’s participation in certain stages, works proceed well and following the scheduled timing and they have been expressly appreciated by the Assembly.
Last but not least, the General Assembly officially thanked the two former Vice-presidents, Mr. Bornard and Mr Yldir, for their work and effort in the creation and during the years of the start-up of Med-TSO, honouring them with a present.
