Workshop “Renewable Energy Development and Integration in the Mediterranean Region”

Med-TSO’s Technical Committee “International Electricity Exchanges” and Working Group “Economic Studies and Scenarios” organize the Workshop on “Renewable Energy Development and Integration in the Mediterranean Region“, which will be hosted by SONELGAZ, in Algiers, on 24th and 25th October 2017.

Objective of the Workshop:

While a massive development of Renewables energies supported by international commitments in tackling global warming is tangible in the Mediterranean Region, Med-TSO in the frame of the Mediterranean Project is actively engaged to anticipate and to help the integration of those energies. Med-TSO Technical Committee International Electricity Exchanges and the Working Group Economic Studies and Scenarios organize an event oriented to present a set of scenarios of the Mediterranean Power System development and the assessment of regional cross border exchanges potential development and Schemes for sharing system services, as well as to interchange the most recent experiences in promoting the development of the Renewables in several Mediterranean countries.
