Angelo Ferrante (Terna) is the new Secretary General of the Association

As of November 2nd, Angelo Ferrante is the new Secretary General of Med-TSO  (the Association of the Mediterranean TSOs established on April 2012 and operating the grids of 18 Mediterranean countries). The candidature of Mr. Angelo Ferrante, proposed by Terna (the Italian TSO), has been introduced by Mr. Carlo Crea, Vice President of Med-TSO,to the Executive Board, which accepted and submitted it to the General Assembly for approval.

On last October 19th Angelo Ferrante was appointed as new Secretary General of the Association. Mr. Ferrante’s mandate has begun on November 2nd and will expire on April 2018.

During the last Med-TSO Executive Board meeting, held in Rome last 8th October, Michelangelo Celozzi announced his intention to resign from the position of Secretary General of the Association, due to his new assignments given by Terna.

Med-TSO President, Noureddine Boutarfa (Sonelgaz), thanked  Mr. Celozzi  for his excellent work in the creation phase of Med-TSO. He also wished  him good luck and success for the new mission.
