The General Assembly of Med-TSO elected the new President of the Association. Tarik Hamane, Group CEO of ONEE, the Moroccan TSO member of Med-TSO has been unanimously elected during an extraordinary General Assembly. Current President Sabah Mashaly announced her decision not to seek re-election, during the last General Assembly meeting held in Nicosia on 13 May.
New Med-TSO President Hamane will be in charge for the next three years, starting from 1st July 2026. He is a highly accomplished energy sector executive with extensive international leadership experience, spanning senior roles at Masen and TOTAL Energies. Backed by advanced engineering and business degrees, he holds numerous prominent board positions across major global energy, water, and climate organizations.
