TC 1 “Planning” meeting in Rome

Med-TSO Technical Committee 1 “Planning” met today in Rome to finalize the guidelines for the coordinated planning in the Med-TSO area and for the establishment of a Med-TSO database.

Eighteen participants from the TSOs of Algeria,France, Greece, Italy, Jordan, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia and Turkey attended the meeting.

This technical committee, chaired by Carlo Sabelli (TERNA), is aiming at defining the criteria for the planning of power transmission infrastructures and coordinating the different national development plans.

Technical Committee 1 works in cooperation with the Working group “Economic Studies and Scenarios” (ESS).
